Terms of Service

You may use the Service if:

• ›You are at least 13 years old
• ›If you are between 13 and 17, you have permission from a parent or legal guardian
• ›You can form a legally binding contract under the laws of your jurisdiction (or your parent/guardian can on your behalf)
• ›You are not barred from using the Service under applicable law

You are responsible for:

• ›Providing accurate, current, and complete information
• ›Maintaining the confidentiality of your password
• ›All activity that occurs under your account
• ›Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

You may only have one account. Accounts are personal and may not be transferred or sold.

"User Content" means anything you submit to the Service, including profile information, photos, statistics, achievements, biographies, and endorsements you collect from coaches.

You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting User Content, you grant Sportsnap a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and adapt your User Content solely for the purpose of operating, improving, and promoting the Service. This license ends when you delete the User Content or your account, except where we are required to retain it by law.

You represent that you have the rights to all User Content you submit and that it does not violate any third party's rights or applicable law. You are responsible for the accuracy of statistics, achievements, and other information you publish on your profile.

You agree not to:

• ›Impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity, age, or athletic achievements
• ›Submit false or misleading information to inflate your SnapRank score
• ›Upload photos you do not have rights to, or that depict other people without their consent
• ›Scrape, copy, or harvest content from the Service
• ›Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• ›Use the Service to harass, defame, or harm others
• ›Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• ›Interfere with the Service's operation or security
• ›Create accounts via automated means

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

The Service offers a free Starter plan and paid Pro Athlete and Club / Academy plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually, automatically renewing until cancelled.

Pricing. Prices are listed in Canadian dollars and may include applicable taxes (GST/HST). We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice; existing subscriptions will be charged at the original rate until your next renewal.

Payment. Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us (through Stripe) to charge your payment method on each billing cycle.

Cancellation. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you retain access to paid features until then.

Refunds. Subscription fees are generally non-refundable, including for partially used billing periods. We may offer refunds at our discretion for technical issues that prevent you from using the Service.

The Starter plan is offered free of charge. We reserve the right to change features, impose limits, or discontinue free access at any time, with reasonable notice for material changes.

By you. You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard. Deletion is permanent and removes your profile and personal information per our Privacy Policy.

By us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason at our reasonable discretion. Where possible, we will provide notice and an opportunity to cure violations.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including User Content license, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will remain in effect.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any rankings, statistics, or recommendations are accurate.

Sportsnap is not a recruiting agency or scouting service. Profile visibility does not guarantee any outcome with respect to college admissions, scholarship offers, professional contracts, or other athletic opportunities.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sportsnap and its officers, employees, agents, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to Sportsnap in the 12 months preceding the claim, or CAD $100, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, in which case they apply only to the extent permitted.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sportsnap from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your User Content, your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be resolved in the courts of Ontario, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or via a notice on the Service before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
